I'm Ingunn. This blog is about learning to make photos instead of just taking them. This is where I collect and express ideas and thoughts, and sometimes I might get sidetracked, too! There is so much to be learned. I have an urge for making life better, simpler and tastier. My picture galleries are in the sections travel and portfolio. I write in English, but I am Norwegian, and comments are most welcome in both languages.

Project | Pond study, November

What happened to November? It never was enough time to make a proper photo shoot for my pond study. I finally managed to squeeze in half an hour of shooting in the first week of December between looking after a sick daughter, marking papers and my general business, but I never got around to blog about it then. My pond study suffered from this, of course, but I have to make use of what I've got to prevent the project from being a failure altogether, so here is my November production t last. My December photo shoot is almost finished, more about that later.

It was a beautiful day, I remember, the first snow had finally arrived (a lot later than last year). It seems to be sunny at all times at my pond. Of course it isn't, but when I have time and desire to go up there, the sun is more often present than not.

The main image of November is really nothing very special, but at least I like how the sun bursts out from behind the trunk, and I think I captured the mood of the day. I used the 28mm, aperture f/5.6, shutter speed 1/400 and ISO 100. I didn't manage to make more than three of four acceptable images this time.
