I'm Ingunn. This blog is about learning to make photos instead of just taking them. This is where I collect and express ideas and thoughts, and sometimes I might get sidetracked, too! There is so much to be learned. I have an urge for making life better, simpler and tastier. My picture galleries are in the sections travel and portfolio. I write in English, but I am Norwegian, and comments are most welcome in both languages.

Girl in pedestrian underpass

One thing often leads to another, which means that today my youngest daughter and I had a fun photo shoot, too, with me making portraits of her. She is a very good model just like her older sister, and she waited patiently for me to cope with everything as best as I could. We tried the underpass trick that I learned during the workshop, and it worked very well this time, too. The light falls in from both sides when the object is placed in a tunnel an it is very flattering. I tried to capture her as a girl on her way into adolescence but still very young and sweet with the little girl remaining playful in the blink of her eye. This is how I see her these days.

We also tried the same location that I used the other day at the light church walls and made a few black and white portraits which also turned out well. More images from this shoot can be seen in my people gallery.
